Chris and Emily's Engagement Session at Fellows Lake

A Lakeside Sunset in Spring

Chris and Emily chose to have their engagement session at Fellows Lake and I could not have been more excited! They chose the perfect day. Temperatures were warm. It was partly cloudy. Slightly breezy. I knew just from looking at the sky we would have a beautiful sunset. They drove down from Wichita to spend the weekend in southwest Missouri. Before seeing me, they got to sample some delicious wedding cake (which I have not gotten to try the flavors they chose...I might just have to sneak some bites at their wedding 😉). While we walked around the lake grounds, we chatted about what they did for a living and all about their two puppies! I secretly tried to convince them to bring them to their wedding 🤣 but one is actually a puppy-puppy and it might add a little bit more chaos to the wedding day. Adding Luna to my life this year I completely understand the hesitancy. Puppies have A LOT of energy. They began their engagement session in a casual outfit and saved the best for last! Emily had a beautiful floor length gown that was made for the type of light we had at the end of the session! Just look at the first photo in this blog post. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! Chris and Emily, thank you so much for making the trek down. Your photos turned out beautiful and I can't wait to see which ones are your favorites. ❤️
