I was beyond honored to head back up to KC to capture Saylor's newborn pictures. It feels like just yesterday I had taken her older brother Hampton's photos. Time goes by so fast! Lauren and Chad's home is just the most beautiful place. I remember that from Hampton's shoot, but I was excited to see a brand new room designed and decorated for Saylor. Lauren, you are so talented! Her home is what I would dream of creating for all my in home newborn sessions. One of my favorite images from this session was not even planned. We were trying to brainstorm how to take a great image of her and Hampton together. From my experience working with littles, I new movement would be great...but it's tricky with a newborn. Creating a vision of him pushing Saylor in a carriage in my head, I vocalized this dream and can you believe it....Lauren's family emerged with the cutest carriage!!! That has to be more than fate ❤️❤️❤️ Lauren and Chad, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these memories of your family! It was the best.
